A tip that I feel to share, based on experience is that training and specialization bring higher income. The more specialised you are, the more you are likely to add something valuable for the people around you, the more likely they will want you around. This includes your employers, trying to retain you.
It is not just school and universities, it is self motivated reading and discovering. Going deep into matters.
